Wet Scrubber System

Wet Scrubber System

Wet Scrubber System

The VIRA Engineering Wet Scrubber is an advanced pollution control device designed to remove gaseous pollutants, fumes, vapors, and particulate matter from exhaust streams. By introducing a scrubbing liquid (usually water or chemical solution), pollutants are absorbed or neutralized, ensuring compliance with strict air quality standards.

The system consists of scrubber vessel, ductwork, circulation pump, mist eliminator, fan, and exhaust stack. Wet scrubbers are ideal for applications where both particulate and gaseous pollutants need to be removed in a single stage.

Advantages

  • Simultaneous removal of gases and particulates
  • High efficiency for corrosive & hazardous fumes
  • Dust suppression in high-humidity processes
  • Flexible design (Venturi scrubber, Packed bed scrubber, Spray tower)
  • Neutralization of acidic gases using alkali scrubbing solutions
  • Safer working environment & regulatory compliance
