The VIRA Engineering Rotary Dryer is a robust industrial dryer designed to reduce or minimize moisture content in bulk materials. It works by bringing the material into direct or indirect contact with a heated gas stream, ensuring uniform and efficient drying. The rotary dryer consists of a slightly inclined rotating cylindrical shell, supported on a strong steel structure.

During operation, the material moves forward by gravity and lifters while being lifted and cascaded inside the cylinder for maximum contact with hot gases. Moisture evaporates into vapor, and the dried product is discharged from the lower end. Heating is provided through an automatic combustion burner with advanced controls for safe and efficient firing.
