The VIRA Engineering Density Air Separator (Air Classifier) is designed for precision separation of fine powders into coarse and fine fractions without the need for cyclones, airlocks, or external bag filters. The self-contained unit incorporates a high-efficiency fan, whizzer blades, and a classification system that operates on the principle of centrifugal force and air flow.
Material enters through a feed hopper and is dispersed by the distributor disc into the classification chamber. The rotating whizzer blades and deflector vanes create a strong air circuit that separates particles based on weight and size. Coarse/heavy impurities are discharged separately, while fine powder is collected as the finished product.
